A love for horses that was born in Venezuela

Gustavo Mirabal begins to feel that deep connection with horses at 9 years of age. It was at that young age that his father Gustavo Mirabal Bustillos took him to meet Tropigold. Tropigold was the horse that struck the heart of this man.

Such was the deep bond with this horse that it is this man’s favorite equine.

From there Gustavo Mirabal would discover his first passion, horses.

This is the beginning where Gustavo Mirabal began to practice show jumping and little by little he was polishing and honing his skills in this discipline of riding.

The advantage is that his father, Gustavo Mirabal Bustillos was president of the “Instituto Nacional de Hipódromos” (Racecourses National Institute in english). He was also the owner of transcendental horses of the time.

In addition, Gustavo Mirabal has the great privilege that his wife María Carolina Chapellín de Mirabal loves horses. This was a common point that united them forever and that today they are a great family.
